Wedding in the sun

Back from a wedding in Virginia:No, the Asian guy in the pink tie with his arms up is not me:

Our family at Virginia Beach, after the wedding:

We discovered that Faith is afraid of the tide coming in. Here, she is clawing my face out of fear:

2 Timothy 3:10-
But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
Time is truly flying. Weddings only highlight this obvious fact. In the course of this brief life, may we live as people firmly founded on the gospel of Jesus Christ. Fleeting are the days, and how easy it is to live without purpose. Unless we actively strive to live for Christ, we (in our natural states) will live self-centered. We will live without faith...hence, without purpose...in a disgusting manner of life. Our purpose, manner of life and faith will be of the highest caliber when the weight of eternal glory drives us. Then, we can say at the end:
"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day;" -2 Timothy 4:7-8
Looking forward to Sunday! Sermon title: Weight of Glory.

haha scared of tide....will this lead to a fear of water? ...will that lead to not being able to swim?
